Bagan Golf Resort sits adjacent to Bagan Golf Resort hotel behind the historical area which is about ten minutes drive from the old Bagan. This golf resort is set up in one of the world's most famous temples, stupas, and pagodas, which date back to 11th century.

Playing golf in such settings is no doubt pure magic, facing the landscape of ancient wrecks is unforgettable and gives one a serene experience. Playing in the morning hours is nice because there is no rain unlike the Southern Myanmar parts where you can enjoy golfing all year round. The golf is not challenging in this golf resort because of lack of hazards and flatness of the land, but overall, it is fun and perfect for selfies.

At the evening, tour starts with the most massive structure Dhammanyangyi temple, Sulamani Temple, Lawkananda Pagoda.

Then transfer back to hotel

Overnight in Bagan.

Day 03 -Bagan-Mandalay . Golf at Yae Tagon Taung golf Club

Breakfast at Hotel.

Transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay.

Upon arrival transfer to play 18 holes at Yae Tagon Taung Golf Club.

The Yay Tagon Taung GC is a 27 hole facility and who would have thought it would be this good. The design if anything is simple... by that I mean it's not over - complicated nor overcrowded which gives the golfer an opportunity to focus their attention on the existing features like the mountains which frame the golf beautifully and are dotted with monasteries, pagodas and even the odd waterfall. The golf course also maneuvers wonderfully about the wooded terrain all the time in site of that mountain. Add to that trees - at least the time I visited - glowed with color and this in itself made the journey a special one. Everywhere you looked there were dabs of yellow and red and orange...a quite a spectacular scene. Of course the lesson being that if you embrace the existing features on (and off site) then the golf and experience is going to be that much better for it.

At the evening enjoy sunset by walking over 200 year's old teak bridge U Bein.

Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 04 - Mandalay-Yangon. Golf at Pun Hlaing Golf Club

It was selected as the country's host venue for the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat in 2001, Putra Cub 2005, Myanmar Masters Tour 2008 and 2009.
